Facebook has patients who talk about their healing of the surgery. Everyone is different so some it affects with a lot of pain, others within a week feel better. Don't know if it is the surgeon or the body's own natural healing body or just a person with a lower or high degree to withstand pain.

May I ask ? When taking the test beforehand, did they tag the spot with a piece of metal ? Or even in surgery, to stop bleeding ? Is that normal ?

My baby has two😭

To make a long story very short, Holy Cross is now called Holy Hell Hospital in this family. Kaiser Doctor's did a poor job carrying for my four day labor pain while being hospitalized at the high risk labor unit. When my water broke at the high risk labor unit nobody came back to assist in the labor after a doctor checked and mentioned to us that I was 6cm and 80% effaced. My husband and I even delivered our baby unisisted at the hospital, because the nurse and doctor were doing a shift change. My husband and I are so proud of ourselves and we were our biggest support in the long ordeal at Holly Hell Hospital. We manged to deliver our baby in the high risk unit on our own. If you do have to go there I hope and prey you don't go thought what the Kaiser Doctors treated me. Ask me this what could I've done differently to possibly have better care in this situation?

Hello, so I delivered at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring in Feb 2022. Actually because of really bad reviews I've read, I wanted to go to Virginia, However, I needed to do a check up just before my expected day, so I went to Holy Cross as the closest facility. Checking on me there in triage, doctor said that water is already broke, so I must stay. That was shock as mentally I did not want to deliver at Holy Cross (even though my OBGYN is practicing here), but I was like ok, hubby go bring our stuff from home. They did quick Cov test, which was fine just a tip of my nose, then I went to prelabor room and in the evening the doctor decided to induce with a pill every 2 hours. Long Story short - I delivered early morning, everything went well, nurses were supportive, I went without any pain medicine, just breathing. Then we were transferred to another room. Care was just great, I was really impressed!!! Nurses are friendly, doctors are caring, just as a dream. Food was great, I would suggest to order Chef's omelet for the breakfast, the best thing!!! Every day I was also ordering fruits with cottage cheese, Calcium is essential during postpartum as well as fiber! Lactation consultants were coming and were very useful, I had like three of them in different time including a night session once. Overall, awesome experience! And at least for me they did not push too much mask-nazi thing, however they were too insistent with vaccines and tests for the baby but I said NO thanks I'll make it later. So, if you don't want to do something to your baby or yourself, don't hesitate to refuse. At the end of the day it is your baby to take care of. So cheers to all moms pops out there!!! Hello everyone. I'm a 27 Y/O veteran/fire fighter and I eat very healthy, lift weights and run on the regular. 2 weeks ago I woke up in the morning and I could not poop. Then the stool finally started coming out but they look like ribbons. Like a gift wrapper ribbon. Constipation and ribbon-like stools. Opened Google on my phone and Ended up going to the ER where they did blood tests, rectal digital examination, and CT-scan with dye. THEY FOUND NOTHING, and the doctor even pointed out I did not even have stools backed up, with the radiologist saying not a spec inside my body and bowels looked out of the ordinary. Its been 8 days since that, and now I'm also seeing white mucus (no blood) on my stools, with 2-3 small ribbon BM a day, with two small soft lumps on the outside of my anal cavity that inflate when I push (Hemorrhoids, I'm guessing?) PLEASE HELP. I am worried sick and cannot sleep at night with the urge to poop and anxiety. please someone. I normally do not worry about stuff like this but I've been down the Reddit rabbit hole many a night and I just cannot seem to know what is happening. Gastroenterologist appointment is in a whole 15 days from now, and I am worried my condition will deteriorate.

@holy cross health I have these symptoms and have faded fast, basically bedbound and very weak. I've asked docs and neuro to test and petscan they won't. I suffer to pass on. I'm terrifed to pass alone and at home. I feel it spread to the brain. I can't even sense my own body at all anymore, only if I touch it. Docs in my area won't test. I'm weak and can no longer go on. Spine problems started a few months ago, lost control of bladder and bowels, tingling burning numbness, now can no longer sense my own body at all. limbs weak. I'm scared.
